A website dedicated to our daughter, Poppy, and to raising awareness and funds for other children with brain tumours

Our beautiful daughter, Poppy Guilder, was diagnosed with a large brain tumour in March 2004, when she was only 14-months old & has endured years of treatment with a smile on her face. We are grateful for every moment we have with our amazing daughter, who sparkles so much that she can light up a room full of people. Poppy really is a little star!

Birmingham Children's Hospital is an amazing place that treats children from all over the UK. We were so grateful for the fantastic level of care Poppy received there that we began fundraising in April 2004. To date we have presented over £230,000 to the hospital for much needed neurosurgical equipment and to support research into childhood brain tumours. Over 400 children are diagnosed with a brain tumour every year in the UK. Of these, over 100 will not survive. The research carried out by Poppy’s Consultant Oncologist, Professor Andrew Peet and his colleagues, is vital to improve survival rates and quality of life for children like Poppy.

Thank you for supporting our fundraising, for helping us to thank the people who saved our daughter's life & for making a difference to other children with brain tumours.
